  1. In your Klenty account, click on the warning at the top right to connect your email id.
  2. Select Gmail from the options.
  3. At the bottom right, click on ‘I want to use Username + Password to authenticate‘.
  4. You will see SMTP details pre-filled with the SMTP host and port number. Enter your password here and click on Test SMTP.
  5. You might see a warning asking that you authorize Klenty to connect to your email. This is a security setting from Google. You will receive an email now from Google asking you to review a sign-in attempt.
  6. Click on the link in the email that says ‘allowing access to less secure apps’ and toggle on the option that says Allow less secure apps.
  7. Go back to your Klenty account and click on Test SMTP again. If you receive the same warning as before, allow a few minutes for the security change in Google to go through before you attempt again.
  8. Once the Test SMTP is successful, you’ll see IMAP details. Click on Test and Save here to finish setting up your account.
