How Do I Map Fields In Linkport
Upon Downloading the extension for your CRM through Chrome Webstore, you will be able to access the extension and configure the field mapping through the settings option that's available within the Linkport widget.
Doing this will redirect you to the web app of Klenty where you will find the field mapping option under the Linkport section in which you will find field mapping options available according to the Linkport (LinkedIn) fields on the left and the relevant CRM that's connected fields on the right.
You will have to select from the drop down and map the relevant fields on the right side which is your CRM field so that the LinkedIn profile fields can be carried to your CRM with information intact.
You can also have a setting to choose the sections in LinkedIn to automatically lookup contacts
This can also be done directly through Klenty's application for which you will have to navigate to Prospect IQ within the application and head to Linkport settings.
Field Types That Can Be Mapped
Using Linkport you will be able to map only the popular default fields and not every default field that's displayed on the CRM.
Linkport only supports text fields and not any advanced field types such as numeric or date fields.
Linkport also supports custom fields you will be creating in your CRM, upon creating in your CRM, once you refresh your Linkport screen, the field will be displayed for you to map to have the value imported.
What Do I Have To Do After Having The Fields Mapped
Head to your LinkedIn account through the Go to LinkedIn option that's available within Linkport or you can open a new tab on your own to go access your LinkedIn account
While you are on LinkedIn, you will find Klenty's Linkport widget on the right side of your screen where if you visit a profile of your choice and click on the widget; the information you have mapped in Linkport will be added to the extension.
Once you map the fields and click on the action to add to your CRM a success message will be shown by Linkport and the same profile will be made available in your CRM
