Klenty simplifies Salesforce activity logging by automating the process through predefined triggers. Also allows you to create Leads in Salesforce automatically.

Setting Up Triggers and Actions:

  1. After connecting your Salesforce account to Klenty, Go to Settings -> CRM Settings -> Salesforce

  2. Click on Triggers section, where you can enable the following options

What Events can I log?

  • Email Sent - When an email is sent from Klenty, a closed activity is created in Lead/ Contact

  • Email Open - When an email is opened by the prospect, a closed activity is created in Lead/ Contact

  • Link Clicked - When a link is clicked by the prospect, a closed activity is created in Lead/ Contact

  • Reply - When reply is received from the prospect, a closed activity is created in Lead/ Contact

  • Reply (First Reply Only) - When a first reply is received from the prospect, a new Lead is created in Salesforce. If the lead is already available, a closed activity is created in the Lead/ Contact

  • Tasks Created/Updated - When a task is created or updated in Klenty, a open activity is created in the Lead/ Contact

  • Call Created/Updated - When a call is created or updated in Klenty, a open activity is created in the Lead/ Contact

  • Unsubscribed - When a prospect unsubscribes from your emails in Klenty, the opt out box in salesforce is checked

  • Bounced Email - When a prospect email bounces, a closed activity is created in the Lead/ contact

  • Prospect Note Created/Updated - When a prospect note is created in Klenty, a note is created in Lead/ Contact in Salesforce

  • Completed Without Reply - When a prospect completes a cadence, a closed activity is created in the Lead/ Contact

  • Prospect Becomes High Intent - You get to choose between the below options

    - Create a Closed Activity for Lead/Contact

    - Add a tag to the Lead/Contact

If you are using Schedule IQ, here are a set of exclusive triggers to track activities related to your Meetings

  • Meeting Booked in Calendar

  • Meeting Canceled

  • Drop-off Before Booking Meeting

You can choose between the below options:

  • Record Activity For Lead/ Contact

  • Update a Specific Lead/ Contact Field

Add Prefix to your Activities

The above triggers will create activities in your CRM with a common prefix as Email Sent, Email Open, etc. However, if you would like to differentiate the activities created by Klenty and other platforms within your CRM, you can choose to add a Prefix

You will find a Configure option just above the triggers. Select Configure and add a prefix name to your activities

Workflows

These prefix can be used to create reporting or a dashboard within your Salesforce CRM. You can create conditions with "Activities contains Klenty" and create dashboards of your own.

Note:

  • Read & Write Permissions for Leads, Contacts, Opportunities & Activities, are required for the activities to be created in your Salesforce CRM

  • Activities are created only if the Lead/ Contact already exists in your Salesforce CRM and are Synced with Klenty

  • If the Lead is not available in Salesforce already, you can choose to create them automatically or manually - Read here
