What are Prospect statuses and how do I use them?

Looking to mark someone as "Do not contact" or "Unsubscribe" ??

Prospects are given a status based on your previous outreach to them. A prospect can have only 1 status at a time. Below is a comprehensive list of prospect statuses:

  1. Not Contacted - recently imported and haven't been emailed yet

  2. In Cadence - actively in a cadence

  3. One-Off Emailed - recently sent a one-off email or mail merge

  4. Email Replied - Replied via email while actively in a cadence

  5. LinkedIn Replied - Replied via LinkedIn Message or Accepted the connection request

  6. Message Replied - Replied to your Text message sent via Klenty

  7. Calendly Replied - Calendly meeting booked by the prospect

  8. Calendar Replied - Prospect booked a meeting using Klenty's Scheduler

  9. Cadence Completed - completed a cadence with no replies

  10. Auto Reply Stopped - Cadence stopped due to an auto-reply

  11. Manually Stopped - removed from a cadence manually by a user

  12. Bounced - received a bounce message

  13. Unsubscribed - unsubscribed using the link inserted in cadence/one-off emails

  14. Do not contact - status set manually by the user to prevent emails from being sent.

  15. Contacted - If a prospect is contacted via one-off email, tasks or calls

  16. Cadence Failed - Start Cadence for the prospects failed for various reason

Quick views

Your dashboard displays numbers for prospects that are Not Contacted, Bounced, Replied, Unsubscribed, and Not Replied.

Note: The numbers here might not add up since the dashboard doesn't show all prospect statuses.

Changing Prospect Status

You can change the prospect status to either Not Contacted or Unsubscribed. Please refer to this article.
